Book Cover
"Um Muro E Uma Cerca"
In January of 2023, my dear friend, Elisabete Martins, presented me with a completely different but exciting challenge: creating the cover for her debut book. I accepted the amazing opportunity and embarked on the creation of the cover.
To accurately reflect the essence and tone of her work, I was given a brief sum-up of the history as well as the general idea for the cover. Being a book about loneliness, a neglected child, and an unlikely friendship, we decided to portray the main character overlooking an empty field.
To this day, I'm so thankful to have been part of Elisabete's literary journey and for all the trust she put in me!!

Documentaries
My first documentary was created in 2021 when I was still developing my editing skills. The Forgotten History Of Caramulo is its name, and it helped me grow and tackle bigger projects. This small documentary depicted how Caramulo became what it is today and the abandoned sanatoriums left behind.
Save Lynnewood Hall is one of my biggest achievements, being a documentary of high production that I solely wrote, produced, directed, filmed, and edited. The team overlooking Lynnewood Hall needed help to save one of the biggest Gilded-age mansions in the United States from demolition. With this documentary, we were able to shine a light on the property and reach the right people. Reaching over 2.8 million views, the foundation received the necessary funds to acquire Lynnewood Hall and it's currently being restored. 2 years later, we returned to Lynnewood and created a follow-up documentary, The Foundation Behind Lynnewood Hall, in homage to the people behind the project.
Since then I've made more documentaries, all about abandoned buildings in need of saving or historic preservation.

Photography Contest Runner-up
I participated in the photography contest, "A VER Figueiró dos Vinhos - Descobrir Figueiró dos Vinhos - Um Postal a Cores" in 2021, winning 2nd place with my photo "Na Descoberta Por Caminhos Certos", captured in Fragas de S. Simão. I entered three photos in this contest, with the remaining two achieving the honorable mention title.

ES Forgotten
What started as a photography project quickly turned into a video project. 2018 was the year I started my YouTube channel, ES Forgotten, where I created small short films. That passion kept developing and I started filming abandoned places in Portugal, uncovering their history and documenting what was left behind.
Later on, I started capturing many adventures around the world and sharing them with my audience.
My love for storytelling through video led me to start documenting castles and their history, a big passion of mine. I always enjoyed visiting and learning about castles in Portugal, and with this channel, I can share and showcase these beautiful ancient structures.
Now, the channel holds history, adventures, short films, and part of my personality!!
